Teachings: Our current series that will run through October is titled
'The Stand'. We will spend the next several weeks learning about the armor
of God. We all face difficulties , and sometimes every day can feel like a
battle. But God loves us so much that he doesn’t expect or want us to stand
on our own strength. In fact, he commands us to fall on his.
Ephesians 6:10-18 shows how the gifts of his strength are provided to us. It is
our choice to pick them up and using them is a skill we can grow in.

Small Groups:We have multiple small groups meeting throughout the week! If you would like more information please contact amp@cheneyfaithcenter.org

Blackhawk Chapel:  We have an amazing opportunity to bring God's word into Cheney High school! Every week we students will meet for a short time of learning and discussion about faith. While the AMP staff will be there to help organize and facilitate, all teaching will be student led! Our high schoolers have an incredible vision of creating an open and approachable space to grow in faith. And to bring Jesus to their peers that might not ever find themselves in a church! Please keep this in your prayers and invite any high school students to join us!

Rules and Discipline: Our new rules and increased communication with parents has been great for ensuring that everyone at AMP has the best experience! If you ever have concerns about behaviors or anything happening at AMP please contact us. We talk with students thoroughly about our rules, expectations and discipline. Our rules can be summed up to respect. We require respect for other students, leaders and our facility. If this is not met repeatedly throughout a night we have a discipline ladder that our leadership follows. If a student must be redirected more than 3 times in a night, must be moved from their seat or must be removed from their small group, the result is a call home. We strive to communicate often with parents in order to work with them to support their student and keep them involved at AMP. If behavior issues continue the student will be asked to take a 2 weak break from AMP. If behavior continues further the student will be asked to take a break until there is a meeting between AMP leadership, our head pastor, the student and their parents. Our goal in this is to make AMP a safe, welcoming and loving place for all that is focused on learning about our faith and having fun!

As always, we love being able to spend time with and disciple your students! If you ever have any questions please reach out to our leadership team at amp@cheneyfaithcenter.org or just find us on a Sunday morning!
