Blackhawk Chapel has wrapped for the school year! We had dozens of different student leaders who lead us through Ephesians, Philippians and Luke. It was amazing to see students step outside of their comfort zone to teach and invite their peers! We had about 50 students who attended weekly,including those who don’t attend church as well as students from other youthgroups and churches! We are excited to pick back up next school year!












Volunteers needed! AMP serves 75-100 students each week! We are in need of more volunteers to help lead students every Thursday! We are especially in need of male leaders to help guide the middle school boys in our community! If you are interested in more details email amp@cheneyfaithcenter.org or stop by our next steps table on a Sunday morning. Leaders are a huge part of AMP! They are the ones who are able to get to know each student in their group and help them as an individual grow in their faith














AMP CAMP is coming up soon! The last day for registration is June 15th! Although our spots are filled please register your student for the waitlist so we can see where the need is! Camp is our favorite week of the year filled with faith, friends and fun! Your student will not want to miss out! If there are financial needs, a scholarship application can be found on our AMP page. And if YOU think camp sounds fun- we are always in need of volunteers! Contact us for any questions!




Rules and Discipline: We have seen an overwhelmingly positive response to our increased expectations over the past year! We talk with students thoroughly about our rules, expectations and discipline. Our rules can be summed up to respect. We require respect for other students, leaders and our facility. If this is not met repeatedly throughout a night we have a discipline ladder that our leadership follows. If a student must be redirected more than 3 times in a night, must be moved from their seat or must be removed from their small group, the result is a call home. We strive to communicate often with parents in order to work with them to support their student and keep them involved at AMP. If behavior issues continue the student will be asked to take a 2 weak break from AMP. If behavior continues further the student will be asked to take a break until there is a meeting between AMP leadership, our head pastor, the student and their parents. Our goal in this is to make AMP a safe, welcoming and loving place for all that is focused on learning about our faith and having fun!
